Durham (WACH)- Jay Baum hit a three-run double in the eighth to lift Clemson to a 4-2 win and sweep over Duke on Sunday.  The Tigers move to 18-14 overall, and 8-7 in the ACC.

Kevin Pohle (4-1) worked seven strong innings to get the win.  Daniel Gossett worked the eighth and ninth innings to earn his second save of the season.

The Blue Devils broke through on Pohle after he retired the first 15 batters he faced, scoring a run in the sixth and seventh innings.

Richie Shaffer and Phil Pohl led off the eighth with singles followed by a Jon McGibbon walk.  Baum then drove a double to right-center to clear the bases.

Clemson returns to action Tuesday when they face Furman at Fluor Field in Greenville.  Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
