COLUMBIA (WACH) - South Carolina freshman forward Anthony Gill has been granted permission to contact other NCAA schools to discuss a potential transfer, Gamecock head coach Frank Martin announced on Friday.  The permission to contact was not restrictive to specific institutions.

“We’re going to allow Anthony to go through the recruiting process again, and South Carolina will be involved in that,” Martin said.

Gill, a 6'8" forward from Charlotte, played in all 31 games in 2011-2012.  He averaged 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in about 25 minutes per game.
