COLUMBIA (WACH) - Benedict College center Marcus Goode has been named to the Boxtorow Division II/NAIA HBCU All-American team for the second year in a row.
Also, the Benedict men's basketball team finished third in the final HBCU Division II National Poll. Shaw senior guard Malik Alvin headlines the Boxtorow Division II/NAIA HBCU All-American team. Goode was also named the SIAC Player of the Year after leading the SIAC in scoring (18.5), rebounds (11.3) and blocks (2.7), while recording 21 double-doubles which tied for the lead in NCAA Division II.
