COLUMBIA (WACH) -South Carolina has its man.
Kansas State's Frank Martin will be introduced as USC's new basketball coach at a Tuesday press conference. The position became vacant when South Carolina fired Darrin Horn earlier this month.
The USC Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday to discuss Martin's contract. According to the university, a press conference will take place immediately afterwards.
Martin arrived in Manhattan in 2006, and took over as head coach in 2007. The Wildcats made the NCAA Tournament four of the past five years including this season, when they lost to Syracuse in the third round.
