Clemson edges BC for first ACC win of 2012

CLEMSON - Kevin Brady pitched 6 2/3 effective innings with nine strikeouts to lead Clemson to a 6-4 win over Boston College at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday night.

The Tigers improved to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in the ACC. The Eagles, who lost their seventh game in a row, fell to 6-9 overall and 0-4 in ACC play.

Eight different Tigers had one hit apiece, while Spencer Kieboom scored a team-high two runs.  Brad Felder crushed a two-run homer for the Tigers.

Clemson and Boston College will play game-two of the three-game series on Saturday at 6:30 PM.
