Columbia (WACH)- Adam Westmoreland pitched 5.2 innings giving up just one run on four hits and the Gamecocks tagged Charleston Southern for 11 hits in a 5-2 win over the Buccaneers at Carolina Stadium Tuesday night.  USC is now 14-1 on the season.

Kyle Martin put USC ahead 1-0 early in the first after an RBI single to left scored Evan Marzilli.  The Gamecocks would add on two more runs in the third.

Greyson Greiner's pinch-hit, two-run single in the seventh extended USC's lead to 5-1.

The Gamecocks closed out the Buccaneers in the ninth on Joel Seddon's first career save.

South Carolina returns to action Wednesday night when they host Appalachian State.  First pitch is at 7 p.m.
