COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fans are invited to join the South Carolina women’s basketball team in the McGuire Club of Colonial Life Arena to watch the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, March 12.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

Cocky and the cheerleaders will be on hand, and the first 200 fans will receive a free t-shirt. Concession stand refreshments will be provided.

Fans should park in the lot adjacent to the arena and enter through the arena’s main entrance.

The Gamecocks are currently 23-9 on the season after advancing to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament for the first time in program history.

In head coach Dawn Staley’s fourth season at the helm, South Carolina has turned in its first 20-win season since 2002-03, which was also the last time the program earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Among the Gamecocks’ wins this season were five against nationally ranked opponents and a school-record tying 10 were in SEC play, which earned them a share of fourth place in the league standings.
