COLUMBIA (WACH) – Benedict College will face the University of Alabama-Huntsville Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament.  Tip time is 7 pm eastern time.

The Tigers punched their ticket to the tournament by winning the SIAC tournament in Atlanta.

The winner between Benedict, the eighth seed, and Alabama-Huntsville, the top seed, will face the winner between fourth-seed Florida Tech and fifth-seed Saint Leo on Sunday.  The region championship game will be Tuesday.
