Columbia (WACH)- Senior guard La'Keshia Sutton scored 16 points and Ashley Bruner added 15 to help South Carolina knock off Arkansas 53-47 at Colonial Life Arena Sunday afternoon.  The Gamecocks (21-8, 10-6) held the Razorbacks to just five field goals in the second half.

USC trailed 28-26 at halftime, but strong play on Senior Day from two seniors in Sutton and Charenee Stephens helped the Gamecocks control much of the second half.

Stephens grabbed 11 rebounds.

It is the first win for USC on Senior Day since the 2007 season and marks the first time the Gamecocks have won 21 regular season games since the 2002-03 campaign.

USC finish the season tied for fourth in the SEC.  The Gamecocks draw the No. 6 seed in the SEC Tournament and will face No. 11 seed Alabama at 10 p.m. (ET) on Thur, March 1.
