Clemson rallies, tops Maine 9-6 to win series

Clemson (WACH)- Clemson rallying from a 6-0 deficit to knock off Maine 9-6 Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.  With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-2 on the season.

Clemson scored two runs in the fourth and fifth innings before unloading with five runs in the sixth including a two-out, two-run double by Phil Pohl.

Kevin Pohle (2-0) earned the win in relief allowing four hits, three unearned runs, and four strikeouts in three innings pitched.

The Tigers will be at Joe Riley Park in Charleston, S.C. on Friday to take on rival USC at 6:00 PM.
