South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram has five and a half sacks so far this season.
COLUMBIA (WACH) - South Carolina Head Coach Steve Spurrier says defensive end Melvin Ingram won't practice and may not play Saturday due to a sprained foot. Ingram suffered the injury in last week's 16-13 loss to Auburn.
"It's a little pain, but it's not unbearable," said the senior from Hamlet, N.C. "I'm going to listen to the trainers and do whatever it is they need me to do."
Ingram leads the SEC in sacks this season and won conference player of the week honors for the second consecutive week.
