SUMTER (WACH) – Gamecock closer Matt Price was honored on Tuesday night in Sumter during the Sumter P-15’s game at Riley Park.

The Sumter native on USC’s College World Series title-winning teams, threw out the first pitch of the contest.

Mayor Joe McElveen also read a proclamation declaring it Matt Price Day.
