STARKVILLE, MISS. (WACH) - The South Carolina baseball team will be without two starters on Sunday in their rubber match with Mississippi State.
Gamecock junior outfielder Jackie Bradley Junior hurt his left wrist in Saturday's game at Mississippi State. He was evaluated by MSU orthopedists and will have a follow-up with University of South Carolina physicians on Monday. He has not had an MRI.
South Carolina sophomore outfielder Evan Marzilli was seen by physicians on Saturday night and will be evaluated on Monday by University of South Carolina physicians.
He has a medical condition. HIPAA precludes any additional information. However - USC officials say they do no foresee any long-term issues for Marzilli.
The Gamecocks will take on Mississippi State on Sunday at 2:30pm.
