COLUMBIA (WACH) -- There was a noticeable void on the Gamecock practice field Tuesday.

Quarterback Stephen Garcia has been suspended for violating team rules.

After the first day of spring practice, Coach Steve Spurrier said Garcia will be back next week.

Spurrier would not go deeper into what the violations were.
