TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Iowa and Missouri will meet in the Insight Bowl on Tuesday night, renewing a once-brutal rivalry between schools from neighboring states.

Payback? It's hard to remember what happened its been so long since they met.

Playing for the first time since a particularly vicious game in 1910, the Hawkeyes and Tigers are looking to close out a sometimes-disappointing season that landed them in a second-tier bowl.

Missouri (10-2) had aspirations of a Big 12 title and BCS bowl game, but got derailed by consecutive losses to Nebraska and Texas Tech.

Iowa (7-5) opened the season No. 9 and was eyeing a conference title and BCS bid of its own. Instead, the Hawkeyes were undone by a wave of injuries, close losses and, lately, suspensions.
