ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos have a new leader now that Josh McDaniels has been fired as coach.

Interim coach Eric Studesville is meeting with reporters Tuesday, a day after Broncos owner Pat Bowlen fired McDaniels. Studesville, the running backs coach, will lead the team during the last four games of the season.

McDaniels was an assistant with the New England Patriots when Bowlen hired him 22 months ago. He won his first six games his rookie season, but then lost 17 of his last 22.

The 43-year-old Studesville is in his first season in Denver. He has coached the running backs in Buffalo from 2004 to 2009 following three years with the New York Giants.
