COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Less than two weeks before kick-off, USC Football player Quintin Richardson is being sidelined.

The offensive tackle has been suspended indefinitely.

Officials are investigating a claim that he assaulted his girlfriend outside Williams Brice Stadium on August 10.

Coach Steve Spurrier says he's going to wait until the investigation is complete before making a final decision on Richardson.
