LEXINGTON, KY -- South Carolina's streak of 10 consecutive SEC series wins is over. The Gamecocks fell to Kentucky Sunday 9-3.
USC got out to a 3-0 lead on RBI's by Adrian Morales and Adam Matthews, Matthews then scored on a passed ball.
Kentucky scored in every inning except the third and sixth. The Wildcats put the game out of reach by scoring 4 runs in the eighth inning off relievers Ethan Carter and Patrick Sullivan.
USC returns to action Tuesday against Wofford.
