Gamecocks hold first scrimmage of 2010

Jarvis Giles led the day with 8 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown as the Gamecock football team scrimmaged in front of a 1,000 fans at Williams-Brice Stadium Saturday.

Senior tight end Weslye Saunders caught a touchdown pass from Stephen Garcia and back-up quarterback Andrew Clifford also tossed a TD to Kevin White.

The Gamecocks return to the practice field Tuesday.  The annual Garnet and Black Spring game is April 10th.
