COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Darrin Horn has seen his South Carolina players achieve great things at home, but he knows that to get them where they need to go, they'll have to play just as strong away from Columbia.

South Carolina (14-9, 5-4 Southeastern Conference) begins a critical two-game road trip on Saturday at Georgia followed by a game at Arkansas next Wednesday. Horn understands a couple of victories would keep the Gamecocks on the path to a possible NCAA tournament bid.

To earn that berth, they'll need to find the fire and effort they've shown this season against SEC opponents at Colonial Life Arena. The Gamecocks are 4-1 at home, including victories over then No. 1 Kentucky on Jan. 26 and against Florida this past Wednesday.
