COLUMBIA, SC -- South Carolina hits the practice field today for the first time as the team prepares for the Papajohns.com bowl January 2nd.

It was a big day off the field, as linebacker Eric Norwood was named to the AP All-American team.  Norwood is the first AP All-American from USC since 1984.

Steve Spurrier also confirmed Offensive Line Coach Eric Wolford accepted the head coaching position at Youngstown State in Ohio.  Andy Boyd will coach the O-line until a permanent replacement is found.
