CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) — Several Nike-sponsored golfers are sporting bright yellow golf bags at this week's Travelers Championship in Connecticut.

The bags, which have "Livestrong" written down the side, are in support of the Lance Armstrong's Livestrong Foundation, a charity established by the pro cyclist in 1997 to promote cancer awareness.

U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover, last year's Travelers' champ Stewart Cink, Bob Tway, Brendon Todd, Kris Blanks, Carl Pettersson and Justin Leonard all have the bags.

Tway said the golfers wanted to show support both for the foundation and Armstrong's upcoming attempt at an eighth Tour de France title.

He says -- quote -- "After this week, we are going to sign the bags and auction them off for charity."
