LEXINGTON (WACH) - 2010 keeps getting better for Dustin Johnson.  The Irmo native is one of five golfers nominated for PGA player of the year honors.

Johnson dropped by Jimmy Koosa's Golf in Lexington to sign a few autographs.  Johnson won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the BMW Championship earlier this year.

He caught a lot of criticism for blowing a one-stroke lead on the 18th hole of the PGA Championship this summer.

"I learned a lot from Pebble, you know it was my first time leading a major championship, from that experience I used it to help me at the PGA."

Johnson also says his experience playing on the US Ryder Cup team this summer was invaluable.  His teammates included Tigers Woods, Jim Furyk and Phil Mickleson
