COLUMBIA (WACH)- The No. 9 Gamecocks travel to Gainesville this Saturday to take on the third-ranked Florida Gators in a matchup that could decide who represents the Eastern division in the SEC Championship game.

USC (6-1, 4-1 SEC) is coming off of its first loss of the season at LSU where the Tigers rushed for 258 yards and dominated the Gamecocks in time possession by nearly 14 minutes.

The Gamecocks will need to a better job of stopping the run Saturday.  The Gators are ranked second in the SEC in rushing at 233 yards per game.

"They're playing what you call winning football," head coach Steve Spurrier said at his weekly press conference Tuesday. With a win Saturday, the Gamecocks would make school history with three straight wins over the Gators.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 P.M. and will be televised on CBS.
