CLEMSON, S.C. (WACH) - Clemson rode some big bats to a 9-2 win over Wofford on Wednesday. It was the Tigers 14th win in a row over the Terriers.

Clemson's Jay Baum and Shane Kennedy both went 3-for-3 and freshman Steven Duggar added a career-high four RBIs to lead Clemson to the win. The tigers slammed out 11 hits in the victory.

The win was coach Jack Leggett's 1,231st as a head coach, moving him ahead of Jim Dietz into sole possession of 13th place in career wins by a head coach at a Division I school.

Freshman lefthander Matthew Crownover earned his first career win by working five innings of work. He gave up just three hits, one run, and no walks with three strikeouts.

Clemson opens ACC play with a three-game series at No. 8 N.C. State on Friday. Game times have changes for the weekend series. Friday's game is now set for 3pm, Saturday's for 4pm and Sunday's series finale has been rescheduled for 1pm.
