COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) - A USC student who pleaded guilty to DUI last week now knows the legal price she'll pay.

Mary Reames,22, pleaded guilty to felony DUI last week.  In May 2011, Reames ran a red light, hitting  71-year old Pastor Billy Randall of Lexington.

Investigators say she ran a red light in a 2002 Ford Escape and hit two vehicles at the corner of Assembly and Whaley streets. 

According to police, she was driving under the influence at the time.

Reames received 10 years, suspended to one year with credit for time served. She also has to pay a $10,000 fine.
