COLUMBIA (WACH) - Former South Carolina GOP Executive Director Todd Kincannon has found himself under fire online and on social media after “a flurry of racially-charged tweets” during last night’s Super Bowl.

In a post on mediaite.com about Kincannon's tweets, he was originally misidentified as a "legal correspondent for Good Day Columbia."

The article has since been corrected.

Kincannon’s views do not represent those of WACH Fox. He is not now – nor has he ever been – an employee of WACH Fox.

WACH Fox has in the past interviewed Kincannon in his capacity as both a lawyer and a previous executive director of the SCGOP, but according to our records has not been on in the past four months, and only twice in the past year.
