COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Mothers across the Midlands made some special memories on Saturday.

The Chick-Fil-A on Decker Boulevard in Columbia hosted a Mother-Son Date Night. The event gave about 60 moms a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and create special, long-lasting moments.

The free event included several super bowl themed activities like music and games; along with plenty of food.

Manager Aaron Jackson said it is a special event to all parents.

"A mom and son's relationship is very special," Jackson said. "To have a place where they can make memories, that is what we are trying to do."

Jackson said all Chick-Fil-A locations will participate in a Daddy-Daughter Day in June.
