RICHLAND COUNTY, SC  (WACH) -- A late night shooting has led to a death of one victim and two others in a hospital.

Richland County Sheriff's Department Spokesman Curtis Wilson said they responded to a shots fired call just after 11 p.m. Friday night. Authorities say two unknown suspects forced their way into a home on the 4100 block of Williamsburg Dr.

Wilson said that is when one of the suspects shot one person inside the home in the upper and lower body. The victim, Brandon Jones, 22,  died from their injuries during surgery. Wilson said the other suspect also had a hand gun and shot the other two victims in the upper body. Their condition is unknown.

The department continues to investigate by questioning acquaintances, witnesses, and neighbors. Investigators have not come up with a description yet.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
