IRMO,SC (WACH)- An Irmo teen staying home sick from school got the scare of his life Thursday.

Police say the 13-year-old was at home alone when he heard a noise in the back of his house. Authorities say three people were breaking in to the home at the corner of Archers Lane and Valleywood Court.

The boy called his mother, who then called 911 after the teen's call dropped out.

SLED, Irmo police, and Lexington County deputies were called to the scene.

Irmo Police chief Brian Buck says a female suspect was arrested as she was fleeing the home. Two other men, Antoine Woodlin, 26, and Dan Demetri Ford, 20, were arrested a short time later.

Officers say the boy was able to get out of the house safely.  He was reunited with his mother.
