The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies received great news on Wednesday.
The teams's quarterback RJ Alaniz will will be allowed to play in the game.
The former Rio Grande City quarterback led the Rattlers to the playoffs in 2006.
But injuries and clashes with coaches put a damper on his 2007 season.
Alaniz transfered to Juarez-Lincoln but the 32-4A executive committee said he was ineligible to play this year.
The quarterback appealed the decision to the University Interscholastic League who overturned that ruling on Wednesday morning.
Alaniz will be the first ever starting quarterback for the Huskies.
