Gamecock Defensive End Melvin Ingram has done it again. Southeastern Conference officials named him Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row. Ingram racked up a total 11 tackles, over four tackles for a loss and a career-best 3.5 sacks. Ingram also intercepted a pass in Saturday's 16-13 loss to Auburn.

The SEC has named South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram as the conference's defensive player of the week after his performance against Vanderbilt Saturday. This is the second time Ingram has been awarded with the title this season.
