    Saturday, November 13, 2010  Newberry senior wide receiver David Pressley set a new school mark for receiving yards in a season, but five touchdown passes from Wingate quarterback Cody Haffly and four interceptions thrown by Newberry quarterbacks gave the visiting Bulldogs a 49-33 win at Setzler Field in the regular season finale Saturday.

  • Wolves get back on winning track with 31-3 victory at Brevard
    Saturday, November 06, 2010  The Newberry College Wolves snapped a three-game losing streak with a dominating 31-3 victory over the Brevard College Tornados at Asheville High School on Saturday afternoon. Senior receiver David Pressley (Anderson, S.C.) broke the school's single-season reception record with his 74th catch of the year in the third quarter.
