Monday, March 25, 2013  South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner heads up the latest class of the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. Tanner won two national championships as Gamecocks baseball coach before taking over as AD last July.

Friday, July 13, 2012  Ray Tanner is the new Athletics Director at the University of South Carolina.  A press conference was held Friday afternoon in The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium where Tanner was introduced.

Thursday, July 12, 2012  Associate Head Coach Chad Holbrook is expected to be named Tanner's replacement as head baseball coach within the next few days.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011  It seems USC senior quarterback Stephen Garcia is off the team for good.  Officials with the University of South Carolina Athletics Department say Garcia was dismissed from the Gamecock football team Tuesday.
