Saturday, August 18, 2012  The University of South Carolina football squad is the No. 9 team in the country, according to the preseason poll released by the Associated Press today.  Clemson is ranked 14th.

Sunday, September 11, 2011  The USC football team is on the verge of making the national top ten.  The Gamecocks are the 11th-ranked team in the country according to both the Associated Press and the USA Today/Coaches poll.  That's up one spot from their previous ranking.

Tuesday, September 06, 2011  Both the Associated Press and the USA Today Coaches' poll were released Tuesday putting the USC football team just outside the top ten.  Oklahoma ranks at the top of the list followed by LSU and Alabama.
