COLUMBIA (WACH) - A man accused of murdering a pregnant woman is now also charged with one count of woods arson.

The South Carolina Forestry Commission added the charge against Tristan Gist on Thursday "as a result of his attempt to burn the body of the female victim identified in this case," according to Scott Hawkins.

Investigators say Gist is accused of shooting 22-year-old Dierra Fisher in the head, driving her body to a wooded area off of Screaming Eagle Road with his two small children in the vehicle and setting her body on fire. Fisher was 21 weeks pregnant.
