RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C.  (WACH) -- The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities say an unknown suspect came to a home on the 100 block of Lindevon Ln and shot a 48-year old female in the lower body. That woman was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities found multiple rounds shot inside the home. They are investigating to find a suspect and to determine a motive for the shooting.
