COLUMBIA (WACH) - A teacher accused of having sex with her students is no longer a teacher with Richland School District One.

Richland School District One Spokesperson Karen York said Kinsley Wentzky's teaching contract was not renewed. 

York says Wentzky's teaching certificate has been suspended by the State Department of Education. Since Wentzky can't legally teach in public schools, the Richland One Board voted to not renew her teaching contract. 

Wentzky had been suspended with pay since December 27 after a parent brought allegations of an illicit affair with one of her students.
