SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Police in Spartanburg County have arrested 90 people as part of a roundup of people on outstanding warrants.

Officials say about 130 officers from two dozen law enforcement agencies took part in the 12-hour operation Wednesday.

Officers hope to serve between 700 and 800 active warrants on Spartanburg County residents. About 150 warrants were served Wednesday.

Sheriff Chuck Wright says the charges cover a wide range of crimes, including criminal domestic violence and writing bad checks.
