It was a very busy day on Good Day Columbia, with school spirit, leftover hotdogs, performers from the Nick, and a celebration of beating breast cancer.

As we continue celebrating school spirit and the spirit of community with the School Spirit Squad, we were joined by 2 students from Spring Valley High School, the location of this week’s pep rally.

Someone is going to have a 1 in the loss column – but who?

Billy from the Gamecock blog Left Over Hotdog and Greg from the UGA blog Leather Helmet squared off over who the loss will go to when UGA makes the trip east to face the undefeated Gamecocks at William Brice on Saturday.

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lives. The good news? It can be beat.

Breast cancer survivor Janet Snider and Anna Saunders from Palmetto Health were on the show to talk about the annual Walk and Race for Life, planned for Finlay Park on Saturday.
