LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) - A West Columbia man who was wanted for nearly two months was arrested by Lexington County sheriff's deputies last Friday.
Sheriff James R. Metts says Frank Alexander Jones, 47, was arrested on a charge of second-offense distribution of crack cocaine after being stopped by a deputy who recognized Frank as being wanted by the department Friday around 3 p.m.
A five-month undercover investigation concerning the sale of crack cocaine at a home on Colony Park Lane where Jones previously lived led to the arrests of 14 individuals on drug charges in July, Metts said.
Jones is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
