Columbia (WACH)--According to Richland County Deputies a man opened fire in a fast food restaurant Friday night.

It happened around 11:40pm at the McDonald's restaurant at 1729 Broad River Road. 

Police say that a man and a woman got into an altercation with a worker at the drive-thru window.

According to officers the two suspects then entered the restaurant and the man fired a shot into the floor of the business. 

No one was injured. 

Deputies found the suspects vehicle near the scene. 

Police are investigating the incident.
