MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) -- A new development is coming to the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina at Patriots Point on Charleston Harbor.

Officials from the resort, the Patriots Point Development Authority Board and Town of Mount Pleasant break ground for the project Friday.

The project is an 18,000-square-foot building that includes a restaurant and a roof top bar. It will also include a private yacht club, fitness center and marina store.

The development is near the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum that features the World War II aircraft carrier Yorktown.
