WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) - The West Columbia Police Department is looking for a Columbia man who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred last month.

The department suspects that Patrick Calvin Washington, 21, presented a knife during a robbery on June 9 in the Gentle Pines Apartment complex in West Columbia and then fled the scene.

Chief Dennis Tyndall says Washington is also wanted in connection with a series of thefts and break-ins to automobiles in the West Columbia area.

According to Tyndall, Washington is believed to be armed and dangerous.
