COLUMBIA (WACH) - The 5th Circuit Solicitor's Office announced Tuesday that a bond setting has been scheduled for Brett Davis Parker.

The setting will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Richland County Courthose before the Honorable DeAndrea Gist Benjamin, according to authorities.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news conference last Friday that Parker has been arrested and is charged with two counts of murder in the April 13 shooting that left 44-year-old Tammy Parker and 46-year-old Bryan Capnerhurst dead.

According to arrest warrants, Parker's claims of Capnerhurst shooting Tammy Parker have been shot down by a combination of autopsy findings, physical evidence located at the scene, cellular records, sruveillance video, witness statements and other circumstances and facts uncovered throughout the investigation. Parker is said to have given a sworn statement to law enforcement admitting to arming himself and shooting Capnerhurst four times.

Parker's attorney Dave Fedor tells WACH Fox that Parker is "absolutely" sticking to his self-defense story that he has been telling since the beginning of the investigation.
