Richland County man drowns in his own pond

According to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts, Raynold Stoudemayer, 74, of R.L. Stoudemayer Road in Peak, fell into a pond on his property around 7:00pm on Thursday. RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH)- A Richland County man is dead after falling into his pond late yesterday evening.

According to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts, Raynold Stoudemayer, 74, of R.L. Stoudemayer Road in Peak, fell into a pond on his property around 7:00pm on Thursday. The victims family became concerned after finding his golf cart near the pond and not being able locate him.

Watts said an autopsy showed Stoudemayer died from drowning.
