Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run, troopers searching for vehicle of interest

Similar to the vehicle of interest in deadly hit-and-run - Troopers describe the vehicle of interest as as either a 1997-2004 Ford F-150 or a 1997-2002 Ford Expedition with a honeycomb grill that is wine in color. The area of damage would be to the center and right front of the vehicle.  / SCHP

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WACH) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision where one person was struck and killed early Tuesday morning.

Authorities say the collision happened around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 95 Northbound at mile marker 121. The person driving the vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.

Troopers describe the vehicle of interest as as either a 1997-2004 Ford F-150 or a 1997-2002 Ford Expedition with a honeycomb grill that is wine in color. The area of damage would be to the center and right front of the vehicle.
