COLUMBIA,SC (WACH)- Richland County deputies are looking into a late morning shooting that happened in the Lower Richland community just outside of Columbia.

Deputy Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department said at about 11:15 Thursday a female victim was found with shots to the upper body.

Wilson says soon after deputies responded to another shots fired call at  the Deer Meadows Apartment. They found two victims there with shots to the upper body.

Deputies are continuing to investigate.

Wilson did not rule out the two incidents being related.
