COLUMBIA (WACH) - Fire officials say a child playing with a lighter is to blame for a Tuesday afternoon apartment fire that caused $120,000 worth of damage.

According to Columbia-Richland Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins, there were no injuries in the fire at the Rapids Apartments on Catawba Circle in Columbia.

Four families were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
