Boil water advisory repealed

COLUMBIA (WACH) - The City of Columbia Water Works has repealed a boil water advisory for some residents.
Customers of Coatesdale Rd from Veterans Rd to near Coatesdale Cir. To include Mayland Ct and Southwell Ct, located in Richland County, no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.
The City of Columbia Water Works says after an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed and it is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
